Spring is Here & The Ground is Ready

We've spread lots of farm byproducts we've collected over the last year. The rains have finally come. The gras is now turning green, and buds are on the trees. The weather is warming up, and it's GARDEN TIME!!! We tilled Monday, and are now planting the cold weather plants. It's not as easy as we thought - I planted onions & garlic last fall for early spring, and they are in the way. Live and Learn! But now we are planting more onions, as well as beets, carrots, and radishes. Josh has demanded a larger part of the garden. How do you discourage hard work in a 12-year old boy? So, my garden is a little smaller, and his is about twice as big. Soon we'll have early onions. So tasty!
